people first advocating for a better future
remember people first langauge matters.

people first is a great self advocate group for people with disabilitys. locial as well as regional and we do a lot of fundraisers for our group as well. we have people first lanague as well to . we are a vitial part grass roots organaztion for people with disabilites. we teach skills for
selfadvocatres. they get to make new friends there as well.
which is a vitial part for them we educate about the issues that our going on in the locial coumminity that effect there daily lives we have gone to many national as well as locial conferences as well. our next big fundraiser is the annual golf tournement in 2006 a resoultion was passed for people first lanague to were we are treated with respect and n ot useign the r word any more. a great mile stone for people first.
